James Maslow is a versatile actor best known for his breakout role as James Diamond on Nickelodeon’s hit series Big Time Rush. Since then, he has taken on a wide range of roles, including leading the Lionsgate WWII action film Wolf Hound and starring alongside Jaime Camil, Jason Alexander, and Brooke Shields in the comedy My Boyfriend’s Meds. Maslow also appeared in Sony’s Sequestered and more recently the crime drama Blue Ridge, further showcasing his range across genres.
Maslow’s dedication to his craft is evident in his extensive training. He studied at The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, The Coronado School of the Arts, The La Jolla Playhouse conservatory, and under Anthony Meindl in Los Angeles. He is currently continuing his studies at the 4th Wall Acting Studio in Nashville, TN. Beyond acting, Maslow has embraced a producer role, with a slate of film and TV projects in development, set to begin filming in 2025. His growing body of work reflects his commitment to expanding his influence in Hollywood, both as a performer and storyteller.
